Tunnel construction

The DSD Heavy Lift AG has extensive experience in dismantling tunnel boring machines (TBM). One notable project was the dismantling of the heavy shield machine of the TBM 'Delia' in the access tunnel of the Gotthard Tunnel, which has a length of nearly 5 kilometers.

Our specially developed shifting system (portal steel construction), matching shifting tracks, and our strand jacks enabled us to successfully complete this complex task within a remarkably short period of just under two months.

Thanks to our specially developed concepts and technologies, we are able to successfully tackle a variety of projects in tunnel construction.
