Lichterfelde Power Plant Lowering of Three Boilers

As part of the decommissioning of the Lichterfelde power plant, DSD Heavy Lift was commissioned to carry out the controlled lowering of three boiler units. The works took place within the existing plant structure and required precise planning as well as safe load handling under challenging space constraints.

Using our strand jack lifting system, the boilers were safely taken over, lowered in a controlled manner, and prepared for the subsequent dismantling works. The precise coordination of lifting technology, demolition activities, and safety requirements ensured an efficient and controlled execution.
